UCB’s business unit Methylamines & Derivatives will be

TAMINCO – a division of UCB n.v.

Dear,

In order to facilitate the transfer of the Methylamines & Derivatives’ activity, as announced previously, UCB has decided to create a separate entity under the name

TAMINCO

which will regroup the production units at Ghent in Belgium, Leuna in Germany, Fengxian in China and the associated commercial organisation around the world.

We are delighted and confident that with this decision, we will be able to continue our development in close collaboration with our clients, suppliers and partners.

From January 1, 2003, please take into account this change of name to Taminco.

This means for

the Ghent site :     Taminco

the Leuna site :     Taminco GmbH

the Fengxian site :       Taminco Choline Chloride (Shanghai) Co. Ltd

the US operation :       Taminco Inc.

Headquarters and management of Taminco, register of companies, TVA number continue unchanged.  This applies also to the present addresses, phone, fax numbers, banking connections and to the persons you are in contact with.
